eVADE - grooM [Psychocandies 039]

To be put on the circuit via the ever active Psychocandies imprint on January 14th, 2k16 is their cat.no. 039, the newest six track digital EP from the vaults of eVADE, better known under the name of Manfred Reckers to his friends and parents. Cryptically named "2wo sQ" the opener walks the line between deep Electro and epic IDM / Intelligent Techno vaguely associated with early works by pioneers like The Black Dog or Plaid, "acid wrck" offers gummy and playful modulations on top of heavy Broken Techno beats and "aCiR" provides raw and unprocessed Acid madness and happy stabs for all oldskool heads out there. With "png png" eVADE explores ravey, yet psyched out modulations and uplifting melodies on top of a super dry drum foundation, "raigN" rides the IDM / Electro again and provides joy and happiness throughout the small hours before the final cut "spou" deals with tripping vocal cut-up loops and mechanical slow motion beats accompanied by quirky synth workouts for advanced dancefloors.
